Our approach to privacy

YULDO is built around journeys, people, places and shared experiences. This Privacy Policy explains how Yuldo Inc. collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information when you use YULDO applications, websites and related services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

Information we may collect

YULDO does not intentionally collect biometric identifiers, government identification numbers, health information, racial/ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, union membership, precise location, contacts, or other sensitive information unless a specific feature genuinely requires it, the collection is lawful, and any required notice/consent has been provided. YULDO does not infer sensitive traits for advertising.

How we collect information

• Directly from you when you create an account, build a profile, plan a trip, post content, send messages, make a booking or contact support.
• Automatically from your device and use of the Services, limited to what is needed for security, functionality, analytics and permitted advertising.
• From permissions you choose to grant, such as location, camera, photos, contacts or notifications.
• From service providers and integrations you choose to use, such as authentication, payment, booking, maps and travel providers.
• From other users where they interact with you, mention you, share content with you, report content or invite you.

How we use information

• Provide and operate YULDO, including accounts, profiles, social networking, messaging, content sharing, maps, travel planning, itineraries, reviews and bookings.
• Personalize travel discovery, recommendations, feeds, itineraries and AI assistance.
• Process transactions and coordinate with travel, restaurant, lodging, transportation and payment partners where requested.
• Protect users, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, moderate content and enforce Terms and Community Guidelines.
• Provide customer support and service communications.
• Measure performance, diagnose errors, improve features and conduct privacy-conscious analytics.
• Comply with law, valid legal process, regulatory obligations and protect rights and safety.
• Provide advertising or marketing only where permitted, with required consent/opt-out mechanisms and platform permissions.

AI and automated systems

YULDO may use artificial intelligence to help users discover destinations, organize itineraries, summarize information, generate suggestions, moderate content, detect fraud or improve safety. AI outputs may be inaccurate and should not be relied on as professional, emergency, legal, medical, immigration, financial or safety advice. YULDO will not use sensitive personal information to train or personalize advertising models unless expressly permitted by law and clearly disclosed. Where required, YULDO will provide information and rights relating to profiling or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Location

Location is a core travel feature but also sensitive. YULDO requests precise location only at the moment a location-dependent feature is used, explains why it is needed, and offers a less precise/manual alternative where practical. Background location remains off unless a specific user-requested feature requires it. You can change device permissions at any time.

Contacts

Contact access is optional. YULDO does not require you to upload an address book to use the core service. If contact matching is enabled, YULDO minimizes the data uploaded, protects it, avoids using it for unrelated advertising, and provides a method to stop syncing and delete previously uploaded contact data.

Photos, videos and messages

Content you choose to post publicly may be visible to other users and may be reshared according to YULDO's product controls. Direct messages are intended for the participants, but YULDO may process message content and metadata as reasonably necessary to deliver messages, prevent abuse, respond to reports, comply with law and protect users. YULDO does not use private message content for targeted advertising.

Payments and bookings

YULDO uses established payment processors and avoids storing full payment-card numbers or security codes. Travel, lodging, restaurant or transportation bookings may require YULDO to send necessary information to the selected provider. Those providers may independently process information under their own privacy policies.

When we disclose information

• Service providers/processors that host, secure, analyze, support or operate YULDO under contractual restrictions.
• Travel, lodging, restaurant, transportation and booking partners when needed to complete a user-requested transaction.
• Payment processors for payment authorization and fraud prevention.
• Other users according to the audience and privacy settings you select.
• Advertising/measurement partners only as permitted by law, platform rules and your choices.
• Authorities, courts or other parties when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and integrity.
• A successor or transaction counterparty in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

YULDO does not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising or analytics disclosures can be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. state privacy laws even when no money changes hands. Where applicable, YULDO provides the legally required opt-out mechanisms and honors recognized universal opt-out signals.

Your choices and controls

• Account and profile settings.
• Location, contacts, camera, photo and notification permissions through device settings and in-app controls.
• Marketing communication unsubscribe controls.
• Advertising and tracking choices, including Apple App Tracking Transparency where applicable.
• Access, correction, deletion, portability and other jurisdiction-specific privacy rights.
• Opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising where applicable.
• Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information where applicable.
• Delete your YULDO account in-app and through the external YULDO deletion page.

Retention

YULDO retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including providing the Services, maintaining security, resolving disputes, meeting legal/accounting obligations and enforcing agreements.

Security

YULDO uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and risk, including access controls, encryption in transit, secure credential handling, logging, vulnerability management and incident response. No system can guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

YULDO may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, YULDO uses recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or other lawful mechanisms.

Children and teens

YULDO is not intended for children below the minimum age stated for their region. YULDO uses age-appropriate design, high-privacy defaults and additional safeguards for teen users where required.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as YULDO changes. If changes materially affect your rights or how personal information is used, YULDO will provide notice as required by law and obtain consent where required.
